Description:

The MCLE program will provide an overview of the Small Business Administration COVID-19 Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) and EIDL Advance aimed at aiding small businesses. The program will include discussion of the enforcement mechanisms for EIDLs and what debtors may face upon default of an EIDL. The program will also provide a discussion of debtors with an EIDL in bankruptcy and alternative repayment options like the SBA Offer in Compromise and Hardship Accommodation Plan.

Pricing:

SDBF Members: $20

Non-SDBF Members: $35

Government Employees & Paraprofessional SDBF Members: $10

Law Students: Free (Law students must show a valid law school ID by emailing jd@jdl.law before the event to confirm attendance)

This program is eligible for 1.0 hour California MCLE credit.

The program will be hosted via Zoom. The materials and a Zoom link will be provided to registrants before the program. A password will be provided during the program. Attendees must email the password and their California state bar number to sdbankruptcyforum@gmail.com. Once the program is approved by the California State Bar, the Certificate of Attendance will be sent to all attendees who sent the password and their California state bar number to sdbankruptcyforum@gmail.com.
